What a lovely way to end our 2014 Wedding Season...with a couple who radiates LOVE =) Just the way they look into each others' eyes, the overwhelmed response to turning around to see each other in their First Look moment, and the fact that groom, Justin, was so elated to be officially husband & wife, that he actually SKIPPED down the aisle! ;)
It was cold & rainy, but what made every minute of this wedding even more worth was to see bride, Andrea, once a teenage camper in my Church Camp dorm years ago, commit her heart to a man that truly values her as a woman of God and will forever see her as his loving bride. My, oh my, this Saturday was drastically different from last weekend! We dropped a whopping 20 degrees in temperature. And while we played games with the drizzling rain during pre-ceremony portraits, the sun came out for John & Jacquelyn's back yard wedding!
After an intimate, 20 person ceremony, filled with tears and an emotional vow exchange, we couldn't wait to make our way to Treesdale Country Club ;) Comfy, cozy inside for the rest of the evening, more of John & Jacquelyn's friends & family joined them for a simply elegant Reception!

Who would have guessed that a wedding in the last weekend of September would be sunny, gorgeous weather, reaching over 75 degrees?! I certainly didn't expect it, but Sam & I enjoyed every second of this beautiful day, capturing photos of such a hilariously rowdy bridal party and sweet couple =) I particularly loved the photos we took at their old High School Track, where Cody & Erica first met and fell in love...so fun!!!
Read MoreAfter a healthy report at our 1st Ultrasound 3 months ago, the next thing on my mind with Baby Lim was the 2nd Ultrasound at 20 Weeks...where you find out the Gender! I had seen many of the cute "Reveal" ideas on Pinterest: bake a cake with blue or pink inside, open a box full of pink or blue balloons, or the traditional route of finding out by looking on the sonogram screen. But Sam & I decided, we wanted to share this special moment with our closest family & friends and make it truly unforgettable! So we decided to throw a Gender Reveal Party =D
This allowed me to have fun with the other passion in my life: Party Planning ;) Since our guests would be the gang we watch Steelers games with every week, I thought a Football Themed Party would be perfect! Every sign, sticker, and game sheet you see below, Sam & I designed together =) At the Party, we took fun Team Photos in the Studio with some of our favorite Photo Station props and some cute Baby ones we created ;) We came up with games about Wives' Tales, Baby Name suggestions, Who Knows Mommy & Daddy Best, and more.

Sam & I thoroughly enjoy spending wedding days with each of our brides & grooms, but yesterday was a wonderful time with Mike & Jen's family too =) They made us feel like one of their own! They chatted with us throughout the day, we cracked jokes together during the Reception, and, what happened as we were leaving the Reception is now one of my favorite family moments at a wedding: mother of the Bride, Joanne, grabbed my face with both hands, told me we had done an amazing job, wished us well for our little one ;) and gave me a true, European-style, double-cheek kiss! =D

Yesterday's wedding with Mark & Alex was a lovely wedding...that I, quite frankly, wasn't sure whether it would happen or not.
Just one month ago, the mother of bride, Alex, unexpectedly passed away. When I first heard the news from Alex, she was explaining why she hadn't got back to me about scheduling her Photo Checklist prep meeting. I couldn't believe what I was reading, in regards to what happened and in the thought that the wedding was still on, just two weeks later.
But Alex, as confirmed during her sister's speech, is a strong woman. And yesterday's wedding was filled with joy, as well as moments of remembrance: roses respectfully laid on the chair her mother would have been sitting on during the ceremony, a memorial toast given by groom Mark with not a dry eye in the house, and two Memorial Wall Art pieces that Mark asked us to design as a surprise, first to display at the wedding and then to give as a gift to his new wife and sister-in-law.
Such a lovely wedding indeed.

After 10+ years as a couple, Tom & Candice FINALLY ("finally" according to their family member toasts) had their BIG DAY ;) Their wedding was traditional, simple, and FUN...just like Tom & Candice!
Here, I would normally say something sweet about the couple, but instead I will share what Sam pointed out last night when we were driving home..."I can tell that they are a couple who's going to make it.
