90-100% chance of rain ALL. DAY. LONG on your wedding day…what bride wouldn’t have a meltdown?! We stayed in contact throughout the week with Gina to provide ideas and encouragement on how we would make sure we get outdoor photos for her big day! Sam & I checked all the locations & possibilities, watched the radar like a hawk, and found the perfect pockets of time to steal our couple outside for some quick rain-free or light-drizzle portraits!! We just HAD to get those Fall leaves in some photos ;)

WEDDING - Josh + Sierra - Copper Cork Event Center, Clearfield PA

After getting engaged, these lovebirds waited almost 3 years to have their wedding! But yesterday finally arrived, tropical storm rain showers and all. We always make sure our couples get beautiful outdoor photos without getting caught in the rain, though! And honestly, those cloudy skies did not put a damper on the love & warmth of Josh & Sierra’s day. So many special moments including first looks with the father of the bride and mother of the groom, Josh’s first holy communion during the ceremony, Sierra giving a heartwarming welcome toast to all of the guests, and choreographed parent dances with the couple!

WEDDING - Albeno + Alicia - Historic Summit Inn, Farmington PA

I mean, come on with this dress!!! Actually everything, the u-shaped necklace, the phoenix tattoo across the back, and the “Viking” hair, as the bride called it…Alicia crushed her wedding day look! And Albeno was looking pretty snazzy himself in his emerald velvet tux and matching chucks. It was all a perfect match to their vintage venue: The Historic Summit Inn.

WEDDING - Eric + Erin - Morris Township Recreation Center, Morrisdale , PA

Who would ever expect a warm & rainy day (we’re talking 60 degrees warm!) on a mid-December day?! The weather certainly didn’t cooperate for Eric & Erin’s wedding, but it didn’t matter because these two are just hopelessly in love with each other and it showed all throughout the day! We captured so many laughs and loving looks from Erin to her groom yesterday, it made my heart so happy to end our 2021 wedding season with these two holiday lovebirds!

WEDDING - Matt + Gina - The Red Fern, Kersey, PA

How fitting that, this Father’s Day weekend, we shot a wedding where the Dad was the source of so many sweet, emotional moments <3 After seeing the way Gina and her father laughed, cried, and embraced all throughout the wedding day, it’s no wonder that Gina does the same with her new husband. Such a good reminder that the love from a girl’s daddy will be carried throughout her life!

Rain on your wedding day is a lucky sign, so they say! How about a down pour all day long? ;) Almost non-stop from getting their hair & makeup done all the way through the Sparkler Send-Off! WEDDINGS - Ryan Hilary - Mount Washington, Pittsburgh PA

A Father's Day weekend that Ryan will never forget...yesterday Hilary married the love of her life. A sweet, kind, and caring man, who now is the stepfather to her 6 year old son, Caleb. We got to spend time with these three last year for their Engagement Session and they were already the cutest little family back then, now it's just official ;) Caleb is a ham, hyper, and hilarious all rolled into one, but he is also one of the sweetest little boys I've met, especially when it comes to his momma ;) When we were playing our Reception Screening (a slideshow of photos from the ceremony & formal portraits played that night at the Reception!) he turned to Hilary and said, "They're really great photographers, Mom." Well aren't you just the sweetest, buddy! On our first official Father's Day, Sam & I hope your adorable family of 3 have a wonderful first Father's Day too =)

WEDDINGS - Eric Laura - Treasure Lake, DuBois PA

From the waterfalls of North Carolina to the lakes of DuBois PA...Sam & I were back on our stomping ground for this weekend's wedding, about 30 seconds away from our Studio actually! What a difference from one week to the next ;)

Eric & Laura are simply lovely...as clients, as friends, and most importantly, as husband & wife =) And their day matched them perfectly: simple, fun, elegant. There were pops of purple & green everywhere you looked, along with big blue skies and a shining sun when it called for rain =) We couldn't help but have our bridal party dip their toes in the water and relax on the docks for some photos ;)

Justin Andrea Wedding - Antiochian Village, Johnstown Area PA

What a lovely way to end our 2014 Wedding Season...with a couple who radiates LOVE =) Just the way they look into each others' eyes, the overwhelmed response to turning around to see each other in their First Look moment, and the fact that groom, Justin, was so elated to be officially husband & wife, that he actually SKIPPED down the aisle! ;)

It was cold & rainy, but what made every minute of this wedding even more worth was to see bride, Andrea, once a teenage camper in my Church Camp dorm years ago, commit her heart to a man that truly values her as a woman of God and will forever see her as his loving bride. Now that is the way to celebrate the final wedding of 2014 =)
