What a fun way to end our 2024 season, with a road trip weekend to the Philadelphia area for Chris + Kat’s wedding! Middle of November and they were blessed with a 60 degree, sunshine day. Besides the gorgeous weather they had, Chris + Kat had an unforgettable wedding ceremony! They showcased their lifelong commitment with a Celtic knot tying ceremony and invited their college choir to fill the sanctuary with their melodious voices (it was truly beautiful!)

Read MoreWOW! Never have we ever, in 18 years, posted THIS MANY photos in a day-after blog post...136!!! Very fitting for the SIZE of this wedding, when it came to guest count (300!) and bridal party members (26!)
They had special touches to their day with a father-daughter first look, private first vows, football jersey guest book, softball-themed parent dance, and photo dash with EVERY guest table!! After all of that, Ryan & Kylee were ready to party with their guests...and they went hard for hours into the night! They know how to celebrate!!
After getting engaged, these lovebirds waited almost 3 years to have their wedding! But yesterday finally arrived, tropical storm rain showers and all. We always make sure our couples get beautiful outdoor photos without getting caught in the rain, though! And honestly, those cloudy skies did not put a damper on the love & warmth of Josh & Sierra’s day. So many special moments including first looks with the father of the bride and mother of the groom, Josh’s first holy communion during the ceremony, Sierra giving a heartwarming welcome toast to all of the guests, and choreographed parent dances with the couple!
Read MoreOur first wedding of the 2023 Season had a gorgeous day with a gorgeous bride…well make that “couple”, as Alex was looking pretty spiffy in his suit too. Danielle was simply stunning and all kinds of sparkly in her dress, and the glittery reception decor was a perfect match…a true fairytale wedding with a princess & her prince!!
Read MoreOur last wedding of 2022 will go down in the memory books…brides have told us, “I want a simple wedding that is all about celebrating with my family & friends.” Well, Phil & Jordy’s wedding yesterday took that vibe to extreme proportions with one of the biggest and most epic receptions we have ever photographed!! Read MoreWhat a gorgeous time to have a wedding in western PA! The sun was shining and the tress were ablaze with red, orange, and yellow leaves. We loved getting to capture Zack & Morgan’s wedding and supporting them throughout the day <3
Read MoreWho would ever expect a warm & rainy day (we’re talking 60 degrees warm!) on a mid-December day?! The weather certainly didn’t cooperate for Eric & Erin’s wedding, but it didn’t matter because these two are just hopelessly in love with each other and it showed all throughout the day! We captured so many laughs and loving looks from Erin to her groom yesterday, it made my heart so happy to end our 2021 wedding season with these two holiday lovebirds!
Read MoreYou never know what the weather will be like mid-November, but Duncan & Faith’s wedding day was a gorgeous Fall day, complete with a stunning sunset! Autumn colors popped all throughout the day from the bridesmaid dresses, ceremony aisle, to reception centerpieces. The only thing brighter yesterday than all those colors, was the love radiating between Duncan & Faith!
Read MoreOctober 2nd and such a beautiful Fall day with sunshine, blue skies, and 70 degree weather! The only thing sweeter at a wedding is the love a couple shares with their family, friends, and each other throughout the day. Making sweet family memories together at these kind of events is truly priceless, not to be taken for granted, and an absolute blessing to be able to capture for our couples. The meaning behind some of these reception photos taken yesterday is something Sam & I will never forget <3
Read MoreMore than once this weekend, I heard “Go big or go home!” and that was Travis + Molly’s wedding to a T. Travis is in the lighting business and Molly loves planning events, so their two-day celebration was a photographer’s dream! Friday evening they had a private ceremony with colored uplighting and romantic twinkle lights strung the whole way round the guests’ seats. And on Saturday, they invited all their friends & family to party at an outdoor concert with food trucks, live bands, sparklers, and fireworks…like I said, “Go big or go home!” ;)
Read MoreWOW, there are just some weddings that, as a guest, you won’t forget…and I have a feeling, Mike + Joanna’s will be one of them! There’s not much more you could have packed into their Reception, when it came to memorable moments: a classic hits song medley, including the bride’s namesake “Joanna”, for the Father Daughter dance…a kid’s dance-off contest…a live Polka band with the always fun Polish Dollar Dance (that’s the one where the groom has to fight his way through all the guests circled around the bride)…a special Sinatra celebrity impersonator appearance…and a surprise polka performance by the bride’s mom and aunts as a tribute to her Grandfather <3 The energy was electrifying and so were the groom’s and his brother’s suits they changed into for the Reception…I guess that’s what happens when your father-in-law owns the local Tux Shop! ;)
Read MoreJust over 3 months ago, I received a text from my bride, Sarah, who had just found out her reception venue cancelled their wedding due to the pandemic’s capacity restrictions. In her words, she was distraught and asking for any help I could provide on possible replacement venues. Within minutes, I sent her a list of local venues we have shot at, with the link to a page on our website that features day-after blog posts for each of those venues! (So helpful to be able to see how all the formal events and open dancing of an actual wedding look like in the space.)
Needless to say, Sarah was grateful for the support and the next day they secured their new venue, Luigi’s Villa. And now, the day after Andrew & Sarah’s wedding, I look at these photos and think they honestly couldn’t have ended up with a more perfect reception venue…besides the fact that the location was perfect (on the same street as the church), it also had a gorgeous chandelier, drapery, and lighting that perfectly matched the romantic ambiance Sarah envisioned for her special day. It all worked out in the end and these two love birds had a PERFECT sunshine and blue skies day!!
Read MoreAs if being thrown the curve ball of COVID during wedding planning wasn’t enough, Brenden and Mackenzie also found out they would be bringing a beautiful baby boy into the world, just one month before their big day…that actually made for TWO big days! But Kenzie is one sweet and strong momma…determined to marry the man that she loves and make their wedding happen as planned. They could not have asked for a better Fall day, sunshine and 70 degree weather! But even though the sun was shining bright, Kenzie stole the show as new momma and stunning bride, she truly was glowing <3

Read MoreWhat a way to end our 2018 Wedding Season! Fabulous dress, flawless styling & decor, and fantastic couple =) The rain held off before the ceremony, allowing us to capture every moment of love & laughter with their friends & family! And even when it’s raining, we always make it work ;) After the ceremony, we captured stunning photos under a local stone bridge (I’m pretty sure 1 of my favorite photos of the entire Season is in that bunch!!) Craig & April were a true joy, SO MUCH laughing had during our meetings and the entire wedding day. Pairing that with all things fabulous from their day and I’d say we closed this Wedding Season pretty perfectly =)
Read MoreWe had a rain plan set in place at the church and matching umbrellas to their wedding colors, but Mike & Ashton were blessed that we never had to use it! It was sunshine & blue skies yesterday =D Pair that with the love & laughter of their close-knit friends and this day was one Mike & Ashton will not soon forget!
