Tom & Heather, another couple we met at the Pittsburgh Bridal Showcase earlier this year, came to visit us today for their Engagement Shoot!

Heather actually got to know our work first, from one of our 2014 wedding couples: Nate & Jamie.  And just like Nate & Jamie's engagement session, Tom & Heather brought their puppy along for pictures too ;)

 Mike & Jen came to visit us yesterday from our favorite city, Pittsburgh...where we originally met them at a Bridal Show earlier this year =)  Yesterday was a hot, Summer morning, but we had a great shoot together nonetheless ;) 

This Pittsburgh Police Officer and Nestle Chocolate Sales Manager (YUM!) got fun & flirty at the Beach and cute & cuddly in the hammock...and what do ya know?!  It was National Hammock Day too, how perfect! ;)

Sam & I had such a delightfully, windy time with these two out on the docks ;)

Haven't shot pictures out on the docks in a few years, so when Matt suggested it today, it was perfect!  And Lisa, in her beautiful blue dress and rocking red heels, looks stunning in these photos by the Lake!

Dave & Jennifer came to visit us today for their Engagement Session, rescheduled from last Saturday to this Saturday due to stormy weather.  And BOY am I glad!

Last week, our whole back yard was bare, no leaves on the trees, no pretty sprouts on the ground ;)  But today's photos of Dave & Jennifer turned out beautifully thanks to the oh-so recent Spring greenery!

Besides the lovely weather, today's photos are also adorable due to the fun height difference of these two...just wait until you get to the tippy-toes shot at the end ;)

I feel like I haven't been around for a while...

As my fellow photographers know, Jan/Feb/Mar is the "Photographer's Winter".  Winter begins for most people in Nov/Dec with the Holidays, but that is our BUSY time: shooting Mini Sessions, designing Christmas Cards, and wrapping all of our clients' Christmas Gifts ;)  Come January, it's time to rejuvenate!  January for most photographers is time spent at home with our spouses, no photo shoots...vacation time!  And, this year, for Sam & I, we decided it was time...to start a family.

We are doing something NEW this Wedding Season! ;)

For every couple, we get super excited to share a blog post full of Sneak Peeks the morning after the wedding.  The bride & groom can't wait to see them, the Bridal Party love seeing highlights of the day, the couple's friends & family too...even our blog readers get to see the fun & fabulous photos...in COLOR!

What most don't know though is we ALSO give our couples "Styled Edits" of each & every photo from their day!  So not only do our couples have a clean, beautiful Color edit, they also receive a styled Vintage and B&W version of ALL of their wedding photos =D

And quite frankly, I've been missing out on sharing these photos with everyone...sometimes there's a B&W edit that I squeal about or a Vintage one that makes me swoon ;)

So I'm not holding back anymore...for all of our 2014 Weddings, we will now be featuring a "Styled Edits" blog post with even more pretty photos for you ALL to enjoy! =D
