Being asked to photograph this wedding was a little…no a lot…more special than when a bride & groom normally choose Sam & I to capture their big day…We have actually known Taylor since back in school when Sam & I were his Youth Group Leaders! His family is a part of our church family and we felt like we got the best seat in the house to celebrate together! To know that we were able to turn their day into treasured memories was an honor!

And even when it’s raining, we always make it work ;) After the ceremony, we captured stunning photos under a local stone bridge (I’m pretty sure 1 of my favorite photos of the entire Season is in that bunch!!) Craig & April were a true joy, SO MUCH laughing had during our meetings and the entire wedding day. Eric & Laura are simply lovely...as clients, as friends, and most importantly, as husband & wife =) And their day matched them perfectly: simple, fun, elegant. There were pops of purple & green everywhere you looked, along with big blue skies and a shining sun when it called for rain =) We couldn't help but have our bridal party dip their toes in the water and relax on the docks for some photos ;)
Read MoreYesterday's bride, Angela, told me a while back that her wedding was going to be a glittery, rainbow theme and she did not disappoint! Alternating chair sash colors, chandeliers adorned with shimmery tulle, crystal beads draped from the nearly 4-foot tall centerpieces, a sparkling cake taller than I've ever seen, and BLING everywhere you looked =D
